.X The Passing of an Era To the Senior Class of 1958, this year will bring the fond memories of being the last class to graduate from Wal nut Creek High School. To the Junior Class, will be given the privilege of being the first graduating class at the new Hiland High School. And so an era comes to an end, An era of community better era, we trust, will just be beginning, where better education and better athletics can be offered to the com- munity at Walnut Creek and to its future citizens. Although the march of progress changes many things, things that have become local tradition, progress is inevit- able and usually means a better way of life.
