To the Junior Class, will be given the privilege of being the first graduating class at the new Hiland High School. And so an era comes to an end, An era of community better era, we trust, will just be beginning, where better education and better athletics can be offered to the com- munity at Walnut Creek and to its future citizens. Although the march of progress changes many things, things that have become local tradition, progress is inevit- able and usually means a better way of life. So farewell to the Crimson and Gray of Walnut Creek High School and welcome to the new Hiland High School. HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL MR.
