'Q- 'Q-'N DEDICATION Richard Yoder Griewe not that I die young' Is it not better that I die Before life has lost its beauty Richard Yoder began his school career at Walnut Creek in Scntcmhcr Nh-l He was a tall thln lad with a rather nale look His alert smiling ex es were a con spurious nart of his face And It wasnt long until we knew that Richard was rcallv here to learn He said little and his health did not nermlt his participating in manv actiutics but he had a slv humor and such a keen intelligence that the power of his personality drew friends to him. And now he is gone' Gone' lt was hard to believe that death should snatch from his family and our school such a fine young man when he was onlv fif teen one who gave so much pronuse of contributing to the good of the world But he is gone But gone does not mean dead for Richard is not really dead' He is living hanpilw m a kingdom pre pared for such who have lived not for self but for the God whom thev serve and lote His life was a chal lcnge' his passing was a still greater challenge for Richard faced it courageously as he did work illness 'ind disappointment. The Junior Class wishes to dedicate this annual to the memory of a fine student and a noble life - Richard Yoder Well blest is he who has a dear one dead A friend he has whose face will never change- The anchor of a love is death. 3
