They have grown from the teaching of the three R's to in- stitutions of specialization and generalization in fitting individuals for a dynamic society in amodern world. The primary responsibility of the school is to help the pupil prepare himself to earn a living and live peacefully with his fellow man. Just as modern inventions and im- provements have made the World into one neighborhood, so should man by his acts and deeds make the world into one big brotherhood. Toward such a goal should the school direct its efforts. This annual is one of many channels through which school spirit is perpetuated and propa- gated.
