can faopiec, Here we are on Broadway, standing in front of fBillj Lowe's State Theater, which is a magnificent building designed by that eminent architect, joseph Gola. Tonight, in this year of 1969, being the premiere of the Great Howard Smagula Production, Passion in the Snow, Broadway resembles Times Square on New Year's Eve. Backstage we see the star- Dolores Rakocy going over her last minute dance steps with choreographer Elaine Kologie, while star dancer Lois Sudol looks on. Co-star Frank Romeo Drapala is seen curling his mustache for his opening scene with Carol Mikula as Cassandra, Our make-up artist, Kathleen Murcko, is putting the finishing touches on Kenny and Sheila QMarkeyj Kebless, who play a happily married couple. Busily adjusting the wig on Mary Ann Mizdol, who has a major role, is janet Kwasnik, our chief hairdresser. Brushing up on their lines are Richard Gola and Joyce Pollak, who add a touch of humor to this melodrama. Meanwhile, in the hustle and bustle behind the curtain, Lottie Zawadzki and Walter Komsa are making some last minute changes on the scenery and lighting. Our two script gals, Jo Ann Plucinsky and Margaret Polten, are seen conferring with our dynamic producer Ellen Pivko. First to arrive at this premier is the sugar tycoon, Bill Sasiela, throwing cubes of sugar to his fans in front of the theater. Signing autographs for the fans are Barbara Klamerus, the exclusive night club entertainer, and Mary Ann Gul, World's Figure Skat- ing Champion. A big, white Lincoln pulls up to the entrance and out steps Dennis Sudol, the renowned flier. Standing at the stage door we see Bill Faller snapping pictures of the celebrities while his wife Marion fSudolj, fashion model for Charm Magazine, stands at his side. Equipped with pad and pencil enters Barbara Brostowski, society columnist, chatting with multi-millionaires Chester Bednarz, President of Gulf Refineries, and Trans-Atlantic Bus Line owner Ronald Beresky. The famous partnership of Frank Sudol and Robert Mohowski, of California Customized Car Shop are with them. Heads turn as Ingrid Lange, sultry German actress, appears on the scene. Arm in arm coming into view are Garry Huysse of Huysse Engineering Inc. and Beverly D'Agostino, who has again captured the title of Best Dressed Woman of the Year.

enior gfadd .Mdfory just as the Ghost of' the Past took Scrooge on a voyage into his former years, we will try to take you back in time by retracing our steps at Wallington High. With much excitement and anticipation we entered our Freshman year. With the assistance of Mr. Shurygalo, our class adviser, the newly elected officers, President, Garry Huysseg Vice-President, Richard Kapustag Secretary, joan Lulayg and Treasurer, Evelyn Florek performed their duties. Our major event of the year was the Freshman Frolic, where Dennis Sudol and Irene janiec reigned supreme as King and Queen. As Sophs, we experienced many new and exciting events. That year seemed profitable under the able guidance of Miss Katzman, our new class adviser. Working for the class were President, John Hartosg Vice-President, Beverly D'Agostinog Secretary, Marion Sudol, and Treasurer, Arlene Semper. This year marked the first Science Fair at Wallington High. The two fund raising events of this year were the sale of Easter chocolates and Winter Wonderland, our semi-formal. The keynote of our junior year was the selection of our class rings. The task of leadership fell on the shoulders of our President, john Hartos, Vice-President, joan Lulayg Secretary, Irene janiecg and our Treasurer, Maryann Gul. Under the direction of Miss Gulamerian, junior Prom, our play became a success. The Fountain was the scene of Magic Moments our junior-Senior Prom. The honors of Prince and Princess were bestowed upon jerry Hicswa and Vivian Palesky. A milestone of this year was the formation of the Acadarchs Chapter of the National Honor Society. At last we were Seniors. Managing the senior affairs were President, Dolores Rakocyg Vice-President, Bill Loweg Secretary, Maryann Banasiakg and Treasurer, Maryann Gul. The initial event of the year was the Kick Off, Dance, which was a credit to the Senior Class. Arsenic and Old Lace, directed by Mrs. Gallagher, was a smash hit at W.H.S. Following the pattern of joyous occasions was Spring Fantasy our heavenly semi-formal. The Prom, held at the beautiful Royal Hawaiian Palms, will always retain a place in our memories. The highlight of our Final year at Wallington High was our memorable Washington Trip. The Senior Assembly and Class Night showed us that this chapter in our lives was coming to a close. A tear of mixed emotions falls on the final page of our high school career, that which marks our Graduation.

Dean of Ivy League College, jerry Hicswa, and Mary Ann Banasiak, Director of Athletics at Douglass College, are making final arrangements for their annual co-educational basketball game. As we take our own seats in the orchestra our eyes focus on Ed Zdzieba, star of the Tonite Show, seated with his efficient secretary, Carol Pavlica. There we see Vivian Palesky and Genevieve Wisz dancing their way to fortune down the aisle as new co-owners of Belmont Ballroom. In case of an emergency, Dr. Walter Sudol and his able-bodied crew of nurses Evelyn Omdal, Frances Kraynak, Charlotte Delekta and Carol Ann Cagas are on hand. Seated together and discussing their latest scientific project are James Kupchik, noted scientist, and the two business executives, Henry Konefal and Frank Swidrak. Passing through the portals of the great theater we see several celebrated figures: Chris Trofe, Pulitzer Prize Winner for Literature, our own Pepsodent model Nancy Volosing Mister America-1969 Paul Sondeyg and Thomas Hicswa, Treasurer of the United States. Also seen entering are stars of the successful show, Homemaking Made Easy, Harriet Gacek, joan Lulay and Barbara Schmidt. In the lobby Marty fGrasj Chmura, who covers the sports Held for the Chronicle, is chatting with Joe Tkacz, All-Pro Basketball Player. Play critic John Hartos and sparkling socialite Estelle Supczynski stop to greet an old friend, Ann Crowther, who has just won the Emmy Award for best commedienne of '69, We see Ted Misterowicz and Ron Stetz, owners of Nic Shanney's, conversing with their lawyer, Robert Baron. They are being sued by joseph Sudol, Professor of Mathematics, who recently broke his toe in their upholstered sewer. Due to the launching of our newest rocket, destined to reach the planet Pluto, Pete Dashkiewicz, who is in charge of the project, sends his deepest regrets for not being able to attend since he must be present at America's latest launching site, Showhank Hill. By the way, the seats in this theater have been supplied by flrenej janiec's Furnishings Incorporated, which specializes in love seats. ollowing this premiere, everyone has made plans to attend the gala festivities at the mansion of Vivian Miskuff. The entire affair will be catered by joan Beldowicz's Catering Service. t As the lights dim and the curtain goes up, our maestro, William Mazur, raises his diamond-studded baton, the orchestra goes into the overture and the spectacle begins to unfold.
