Class of '54 Dramatic presentations play an important part in the social and cre- ative life of Wallerites, with Mr. Philip Karimer's classes in drama extremely popular among prospec- tive actors and actresses, directors, electricians, make-up artists, costum- ers, and the like, As a matter of fact, if you have a talent, Mr. Kari- mer is pretty sure to find it and help you to put it to work in one of his productions. Our Hearts Were Young cmd Gay, a wonderful comedy about the gay Twenties, was the selection of the drama group for their December, l953 production. Two college girls, Cornelia Otis Skinner and Emily Kimbrough, enroute to Europe dur- ing a summer vacation, eager to seem sophisticated, have a series of adventures and misadventures which kept the audience hilariously happy.
