With each new day . Clubs which drew their membership from Waller students but which were organized for social activities outside school were numerous. They included the Acettes, the Dominoes, the Falconettes, the Crowns, the Ramblers, the Ko- Kays, the Hi-C, the Skyleens, the Charmettes, the Owls, and the Tigerettes. Happy and busy . Russell Mueller. Many ot these leaders served as otticers in several organizations during their tour years here. And raised to the rank ot officer in the ROTC were the following cadets: Harold Raiman, Basil Talbott, Mead Gittord, Connie Higgins, lohn Genovese, and Neal Ball, For some reason, sports always seem to come toward the end ot a yearbook or a news- paper. Perhaps the editors are saving the best tor the last. At any rate, athletics and athletes are held in high regard at Waller. Following the policy ot Ladies First, we'll begin with girls who played, at some time in the course ot their high school career, on a tournament volleyball, baseball, or basketball team.
