Hard workers from the community and sch ln April 1974, the Tafton Fire Co. received permission from the Emergency Health Services, Dept. of Health, to conduct the first emergency Ambulance Technician Course held outside a hospital in the N.E. section of Pa. In order to train ambulance personnel, it was necessary to simulate accidents and provide victims for training personnel to work on. The first drill involved a two-car - one truck accident. The second simulated a school bus accident. Approximately twenty W.A.H.S. students volunteered to act as victims for the training course. ool combine their efforts for a successful rescue!

On Friday evening, April 26, 1974, The Fine Arts Department combined their efforts to produce the Second Annual Fine Arts Night Program. Under the direction of lVls. Mitzi Clintock, the instrumental band presented a musical Spring Concert. lVls. Peggy Sheroshek and 30 Art Elective students presented an Art Exhibit in the cafeteria.
