With working trips to St. Joseph's Hospital to help the girls better understand the works and duties of registered nurses, it is no wonder this club really holds the attention of the girls. Reading to the sick, wheel- ing the patients back and forth, fluffing pillows, and doing the 1ittle things help these girls feel the duties, pleasures, trying times, and rewards of being on a regular staff. Meetings frequently include talks by student and graduate nurses. The F.N.A. is designed to give the girls a better knowledge and understanding of the nursing profession.

They correct papers, drill slow students, and sit in on a variety of classes. Friendship Night comes two or three times a year. At this time Future Teachers from other schools are invited to a get-acquainted Coffee Klatsch for the pleasure of listening to a guest speaker. The money brought in by their Christmas Fair went to the welfare of an orphan child overseas. New officers are elected at their annual spring banquet. 73
