VICA motivates vocational students The Wallace-Rose Hill chapter of Vocational Industrial Clubs of America began the 1979-1980 school year by having various officers attend the District ll Officers' Workshop in Laurinburg, N.C. Other activities which VICA has participated in included giving a Christmas party for the TMH students and conducting a Teacher Tour Day, which consisted of VICA members giving tours to various teachers throughout the shop. FFA members learn farming skills In many ways, the W-RH chapter of the Future Farmers of America served as a way through which students of agriculturally-oriented courses could serve their school and community. Besides having a chicken cook-out using chickens raised at school, they organized a community clean-up project and a car wash. Performing during a pep rally, the W-RH Band's Flag Squad gives an excellent show. Wallace-Rose Hill Band performs admirably Providing entertainment at football games and pep rallies, the W-RH District Band displayed musical excel- lence. The addition of a flag and rifle squad improved the bandis appeal. On Band Day, band members participated in area competition.
