Spanish Club stimulates language students Playing an active role in the education of students in Spanish, the Spanish Club sponsored activities designed to help students learn more about Latin- American cultures. One of these events was a Upinata fiesta for the introduction of new members. The Spanish Club also sponsored a float in the Wallace Christmas parade. Spanish achievers enter SHS Honoring those students who proved themselves talented in Spanish, the Enrique Jose' Varona chapter of the Spanish Honor Society was established in 11971 through the efforts of its sponsor, Mrs. Estrella Vega.
