As the 1979-1980 school year began, so did the entrance into a new decade. Students returned with feelings of expectancy which lasted as various occasions arose throughout the year. Mary Ann Diaz Sheila Barber New members of the faculty added much to the school year. Specialized teachers for varying areas allowed many students to expand in different directions. With an untried outlook toward the athletic program, team members and coaches displayed a new enthusiasm which resulted in intensified team vigor. As a whole, the student body entered the new year with willingness to change, improve, and diversify.
