Sophomores Beginning their second year of high school, sophomores quickly settled in to the regularity of school life. As sophomores, they soon became involved in a variety of extracurricular activities, including club and sports activities. Many students took academic courses necessary for college preparation. Also in forethought of college, some so- phomores took the National Education Development Test. Students interested in vocational subjects took such courses as brick-laying, carpentry, and drafting. Change was definitely apparent in the sophomore class. New classes, new teachers, new activities, and a more responsible outlook on life resulted in a successful year for the sophomore class.
