Through various activities, the National Honor Society tried to improve school life. Some of their activities included a cupcake sale, the purchase of a floral arran- gement for the teacher's lounge, and the club's assistance to Huyah ngoc Le, a new Vietnamese student. The club also gave a program to initiate new members. These new members, all juniors, were Matt Bray, Cindy Brown, Bart Brown, Brent Caison, Oscara Carter, Gene Duncan, Bobby Johnson, Ann Davis Oswald, Jane Phillips, Gloria Raynor, Leon Robinson, Robin Teachey, Tommy Uzzell, and Katie Wiggins.
