Successful Chorus entertains community Displaying obvious talents, Chorus members worked steadily throughout the year to advance musical skills. At Christmas, a unique concert revealed many hours of practice. Musical ability of W-RH Chorus members again became apparent as many won All- County Chorus honors. Lori Marshbum was selected Miss Chorus. Performing during a pep rally, the W-RH Band's Flag Squad gives an excellent show. Wallace-Rose Hill Band performs admirably Providing entertainment at football games and pep rallies, the W-RH District Band displayed musical excel- lence. The addition of a flag and rifle squad improved the bandis appeal. On Band Day, band members participated in area competition. Homemaking important to FHA members Having approximately seventy-five members, W-RH Future Homemakers of America was very active in events involving the school and community. Besides sending representatives to meetings in Kinston and Raleigh, they elected a Mr. and Miss FHA, and observed National FHA Week.
