CLASS HISTORY Many growing seasons have passed since the Class of 57 were First Graders W went through Grade School in no time When we reached the long awaited High School we had a glorious time Our Freshman year was highlighted with initiation As Sophomores we became acquainted with the ways of High School and romances began to bud Fmally we were upperclassmen juniors Rest Assured our class play was a huge success and gave us many never to be forgotten memories Another highlight was the Beautiful Moonlight and Roses Junior Senior Banquet Everyone was surely inspired by our dec orations and entertainment At last we were Seniors This year was packed with good times for all A few of the events were Class Pictures Sneak Day The junior Senior Banquet Class Play Baccalaureate and last and tops Graduation Ten of our eleven graduates started the first grade together and finished as Semors together They are as follows Peggy Ogier Patty Kam Bill Paxton Marilyn Wood Cgargy Phelps Peggy Miller Roger Hengen Lola Yonker Vince McConnell and Gerald oa Many growing seasons have passed and our memories and good t1meS have grown by leaps and bounds CLASS WILL We the Seniors of Wallace High School being of sound mmd and body hereby declare this our last will and testament We the Class of 1957 will our old pencils and torn up books to the Class of 1958 Lola Yonker will all my hard studying to Janel Hengen She may need it Marilyn Wood will my hair style to Joyce Gibson who hasn t tried it yet getting by with It to Jean Hanson who has already tried it but hasn t found it successful Gerald Goad will my ability to keep away from the North Platte girls to Nathan Clark it seems he could get in trouble with them Peggy Jean Miller will my freckles to janel Hengen Qshe needs them Q Ialso will all my old boy friends to the Freshmen girls Roger Hengen will all my ability to will I have to will to Roger Hummel who w1ll have to will when he IS a Senior Marlene Gibson w1ll my Modern Problems book to anyone who thinks they can get out of taking it Vince McConnell will my ability to make wills for this here Senior will and for all other wills pertaining to the making of w1lls to anybody who has trouble making wills or to any willing body tolllll you guessed it WILL Patty Kain will my ab1l1ty to get a boyfriend to Gwen Wood so she won t have to stay in Wallace Garry Phelps will my wig to Mr Hines and Coach Rleners for their next year s P T A Basketball game I Bill Paxton will my football suit to Dean Goad and my track shoes to Windy McCown two up coming sports stars of Wallace I-hgh School Sponsored by THE HIRSHFIELD CO North Platte YOUNG S SPORTING GOODS North Platte JOE DYE S PLAINS MOTORS INC North Platte h ' ' ' . . e I, , ' ' .
