Senior Class History we entered the seventh grade in 1951. Mr. Krumenacker as our sponsor. Our class officers were President, Margaret Griffin, Vice-President, Howard Gump: Secretary, Freddie Carpenter, Treasurer Ted Rogers. Our class flower was the carnation, and our blrd, the crow. Our motto, nLet the President Rule the Class.n Our colors were blue and gold. we entered the eighth grade and elected the following officers: President, Kim Smith, Vice-President, Lulu Swiger, Secretary, Ted Rogers: Treasure, Warren Robinson. Our cheerleaders were: Shiela Stire, Violet Bartlett, Martha Herbert and Lulu Swiger. Our class colors were maroon and white. Our flower, the tulip. The bird was the cardinal. Our motto, WLet the Boys Lead, and the Girls Follow.n we started our Freshman year with forty-five students. we elected the following officers: President, Howard Gump- Vice-President, Kim Smith- Secretary and Treasurer, Donald Hurst, Our motto was, nUnlted We Stand, Divided we Fall.n Our class colors were blue and gold. The class cheerleaders were: Sheila Stire, Violet Bartlett, Wanda Sulivan, And Lulu Swiger. Our bird was the blue Jay. Our sponsor was Mr. Plgott we entered our Sophomore year, with thirty-five students. We elected our class officers as follows: President, Howard Gump, Vice-President, Violet Bartlett, Secretary, Sheila Stire, Treasurer, David Hess. Our class cheerleaders as chosen are: Sheila Stire, Violet Bartlett, Lulu Swiger, and Patty Cochran. Our class colors are gold and red. Our bird is the crow, and our class motto is NForward Ever, Backward Never.n Our flower is the pink carnation. We gave our chapel, November 10th. It was based mostly on Veterans Day, and Education week. The class also gave the play, nB1lly's First Date.n Our sponsor is Mr. Ronald Allman. On September 6 1955 we entered our Junior year with an enrollment of 26, Mlss Esmah Orcutt was our sponsor. The Following officers were chosen- President Howard Gump- Vice- President, LaVaughn Shrader, Secretary, Violet Bartlett- Treasure, Ted Rogers. Our Cheerleaders were Violet Bartlett, Lula Swiger, and Sheila Stire, Colors chosen were yellow and black and the bird was American Eagle. Our Motto selected was, 'If the elevator to Success is Broken, Try the Stairs! ' We had an ice cream social on Ted Rogers lawn, in order to raise money for our Junior Senior Banquet. For the Junior Play we selected Rest Assured By Donald Payton. It was presented November 29 at 8:60. We also had a Variety Program, March 2, titled Hail The Hunkering Hero. On Friday March 30 we had our Chaple Program, which was based on Easter. The 3rd annual Harrison County Vocal Clinic Chours was held November 30, which included eight Juniors, as following, Sheila Stire, Lula Swiger, LaVaughn Shrader, Violet Bartlett, Howard Gump, Ted Rogers, Kim Smith and Roger McCormick. We entered our Senior Year at Wallace High with a task nearly completed. We elected the following officers. Pres, Kim Smith. Vice, Pres, Howard Gump. Sec. Violet Bartlett. Treasure, Lavaughn Shrader. Class colors are pastel. Class Motto. HCl1mb Though The Rocks May Be Ruggedu. Our Senior Chapel was Nov. 29, 1956. Class pictures were taken Oct. 15, 1956. We recieved our Pictures Dec. 3, 1956. Our class play was presented April 12 6 13, 1957. The title of it was. WCreeping Shadows,n a mystry comedy by Germaine Haney.
