Melba Robinson and David Trough were Student Council representatives from me class, and Mrs. Lovell was our sponsor. The fall of H9', found us once again in Wallace High School with a new sopnson -Mrs. Ray Smith. Our President was David Trought, Vlcr President-Kenneth Talkington, Secretary-Treasurer. Jack Sayers. Our home room was loctard in ihe new Home Economics and Science Department. Some new members entered our class during the year. Charlotte Ash was elected one of the high school cheerleaders, Dixie Hayhurst who later quite to be married, and Carolyn Stuart were our.new merry makers, making the total of our class twenty three. In the fall of 50' we entered our Junior year at Wallace High School.. we eleted the following officers President-Thelma Heldreth, Vice President- Anna Noon, Secretary-David Trough, and Treasure-Jack Sayers. Our class colors were pastel shades. we had5a total of 18 in our class this year a reduction of . We intered our Senior year in Wallace High School in 5l', and eletecd the following officers President Donald Swiger Vice President David Trough Secretary Thelma Heldreth, Treasure Jack Sayers, v0ur Class color was Orange and Black, Class flower 'rose' and our moto was 'The ropes of the past ring the bells of the futureul we held our first class roast at Bridgeport Airport in September and all had a wonderful time. Mary Frances Swiger and Thelma Heldreth were elected our class Cheerleaders. To our -ear old School we leave our peace and quite, in the school rooms as well as in the halls. Say Isn't that Thelma Heldrith sitting in the secretary's office w ere Mrs. Hill used to be, and Bob is doing almost as well as Mr. Hill serving as principal of W. H. S. Next we see Mary Wetzel pushing her baby car- riage down the street. Mary Lou we can tell the little one has blond hair, but is his eyes brown or blue. Some one said Mary Swiger is lost in New Youk. Wonder if she'll ever be found. Eva Bragg is now an accountist for a large buis ness firm, wonder if she sits on the bosses knue to compare figers. Evie Bragg turned out to be a very sympathetic nurse, especially when there is an attraci ve male involved. Nancy klkire certinally has her life's desire, she is a great chemist traveling around the world, her cheif experimentsare Wmenn. Ruth AnnSmith is a very efficient secretary mabe it is because her boss is a handsome young man. Betty Heater is teaching first grade children to be good, and rying to give the young and handsome principal different ideas. Melba Robinson has Wfinallyn changed her name to Malcomb, good work Melba. We held one party during the year, and everyone had a good time on initiation day. We were Greenhorns, but we dident mind that, Our class clors were blue and gold, Our officers were as follows, President-Elinor Pigott, Vice President Mareene Bates, Sec'y. and Treasure. Donal Ashcraft. Our class cheer- leaders were Marlene Bates and Elinor Pigott. The fall of 50' found almost everyone back again. No one was missing, but a few girls. We held one party at which everytne seemed to enjoy themselves.. Mr. Squires was our sponsor again this year and the officers are as follows. Pres. Larry Fleming, Vice ores. Marvin Bates, Sec'y and Treasr. Kenneth Crislip. Our class colors are blue and gold. Our motto is, Hwhen you walk forward you don't walk backward. we intered our Jr. year in Wallace High School onec again and elected the following officers President Harold Shriver, Vice-President Elinor Pigott, Seek Tres. Kenneth Chrislip. We had our first party October 25, and every body seemed to have a good time. we sponsered a Donkey Basketball game on November lst. to raise money for the Junior and Senior Banquet. We selected our play which is EA Ready Made Familyn, which is a comic, and we started practice February lst. Our second class Pafty was February 25. In Ocotber we electd the following officers. President Glenda Smithg Vice president Joan Odgeng Sec'y George Swigerg Treasr Jim Ice. We chols Glenna Pigott and Ronald Talkington as Student Council Representives Our class colors were gold and white and we elected Mary Shrader and Elinor Davis Jenice Underwood as cheerleaders. We had a very nice class party wich was held on Feb. lAth. Our sponsor was Mr. Krumenacker On Sept. 2nd l9A9 we entered the high school as Eight Graders with an enrollment of AO students. The following officers were elected. President Duane Ashcraftg Vice President James Heldrethg Sec'Y Shellis Hobinsong Treasure Barbara Ash. Our cheerleaders were Janice Underwood Glends Smith and and Barbara Ash. We held our first Class party on September l5 th with Mr. Krumenaker as our sponsor. School opened on September 3rd. 1950 and we entered our first year of high school with an enroll- ment of 36 and a decrease of A students. The following officers were elected. President Duane Ashcraftg Vice President Shellis Robinsong Sec'y James Heldreth, Treasure Jim Ice. We chose the wild rose as our flower and our motto isg 'Let the Boys take over.' Our colors are green and white and our sponsor is Mrs. Smith School started SeptA, 1951 and we entered our awxons year of High School. We started the year off with the enrollment of 31 students. The following officers were elected. President-Regina Cunninghamg Vice President-Elizabeth Lambertg Sect.k Tres. Shelby McCullough. Cheerleaders Sue Fortney, Shirley McKenna and Romaon Loy. Our class colors were blue and white. When school started we had a total of H9 students. Our calss a was one of the largest to ever enter Wallace Hish. Our class party was held October 30th. It was the largest party ever held in Wallace High School. There was a total of 75 there. Mr. Ashcraft was our sponsor and Hr. Kru1enacker was the guest teacher at the party. On September 5, 1950 we entered our 2nd, year of Junior High School, with an enrollement of 33 students. The followinq officers were elected President-Shelby McCullbugh Vice President- Shirley McKenna, Sect.k Trea3Patty Hustead. Cheerleader Shirley McKenna. Our class colors are red and white our flower is the white rose and our motto is nForward Ever Backward Never.n We held our first party in the school gymnasium. The class Sponsor is Mr. Ashcraft. Sept.6 we entered 9th. Grade, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Hay Smith. Soon after we were settled and classed renning smoothly and all our old members retalating their activities of the summer, we held our calss election. President-Patty Hustead Vice President-Charles Webb Sect.k Tres. Glenn Hill. As our year progressed we had the'misfortune of losing 3 munbers of our class Geneva Smith, Ronona Loy and Charles Webb of who we all miss very much. We however, had the good fortune of getting a new meber Wanda Parson. During the month of October we gave our first Class party which everyone enjoyed. At Christmas time, we drew manes and exchang presidents and made plans for the spring party. Our motto is Let the girls lead and the boys fo1low.'
