7:3 code ' . , At the top now, the class of 56 looks back to four glorious years at Wa-Hi They started off on the right foot as frosh, when, under the leadership of Bill Bond andiDiana Gibson, they ordered class sweaters and contributed many members to band and drill team and Helen Gregory to Triple Trio. This class gained new honors and success their h sop omore year when jack Hull, Paul Wagar, Sandy Parsell, and Monty McLean were the officers. Their play, His First Girl,', won all three Thespian Tournament trophies, with Sandra Wanamaker and Larry Blythe being named Best Actress and Actor respectively. Added honors included several members in WClub and chorus three m ' tt Sh'l - , ajore es, ir ey Solum, Shirley Steffan, and Karen Kottkey, and representatives on the staffs of the Booster and Prospector. As juniors the class of 56 at last became upperclassmen and became even more active. They chose Larry Blythe, Sandy Parsell, Bob MacGuffie, and Carolyn Bonebrake as officers, while Dave Thompson was elected Student Bod vice res'd t. P R h y p 1 en at auc and Carol Inskrp were added to Triple Trio and Myrna White to the twirling staff. A h . . . , not er dramatic award came their way when Eileen OMera was chosen Best Actress. They presented Curtain Going Up as their class play and japanese Sandman as their lovely junior Prom. Helen Gregory, Diana Gibson, jack Hull, and Dave Thompson were chosen for G' l i d B ' ' 1rs an oys State respectively. As it is with every class, the fourth year was the greatest. Student Body officers included Larry Blythe, president, Sandy Parsell, secretary, and jim johnson, treasurer. Taking over the helm as class officers were jack Hull Paul Wagar Judy Ferm and Gene P h Th , , , ug . e Little Red Schoolhouse was presented in the Thespian Tournament and won the Best Pla aw d. K K y ar aren ottkey, Judy Ferm, and Helen Gregory were elected cheerleaders. This class had representatives in every school club and activity, including Diana Gibson as editor of the Prospector and Helen Gregory and Ed Wood as co editors of th B t B b - e oos er. ar ara Watts and Sandra Wanamaker were added to Triple Trio, while in the sports line also the l f 6 ' ' ' ' cass o 5 was outstanding, with their members as leaders in every sport.
