S 4 CLASS Sf SHOSHC VWALJJKCE Dear Wallace High Students: UHappiness consists in activity. - Such is the constitution of our nature. - It is a running stream, and not a stagnant pool.n J. M. Good. Annuals are records of activity and naturally occasions of happiness are the times we wish to remember. This year with our new school district and growth in school size we should have many new friends and happy moments to make the 1955-56 school year a memorable one. Much of the happiness in administration comes from working with you in uncovering hidden talents and making it possible to use these many talents to provide happy occasions during your school days. It has been a pleasure towork with you during the year.

-Sweden! '- Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your . . Ah, yes! Here is the govern- ing body of old Wa-Hi, an alert, awake group of high school students who plan and govern many of our school functions and activities. They declared Twirp Season at a very fortunate time and planned a slam bang of a Halloween party. While desig- nating the time and place of our dances, they formulated committees to buy records and hunt for lost chaperones. This or- ganization held meetings every two weeks in the school cafeteria, and, while eating their soup and hot dogs, they made ar- rangements for coming assemblies, or for selling concessions at the next ball game.
