JANUARY 5-Back to school after a much needed vacation. 7--Miners tangle with Moscow in a 56-30 victory on home floor. 8-What luck! Clarkston tops Miners with a 52-51 victory. 13-Second Semester starts. 14-Miners tromp Bonner Badgers on home floor, 95-51. 15-Wallace vs. CDA-a 41-37 victory for the Vik- ings. 21--Wallace goes to Kellogg. Wildcats outscore Miners, 52-41. 22-Miners lose to Bulldogs, 60-56. 25-National Assembly. 27-We danced to help someone walk. Proceeds went to the March of Dimes. 28--Wallace skinned the Lumberjacks at St. Maries, 59-53. 31-Lecturer on Foreign Relations speaks to student body. FEBRUARY 3-Many talented students in Wallace High School participated in the annual talent show. 4-Miners tromp Bonners Ferry, 69-48. 5-CDA comes to Wallace to get beat 45-44. What a game! 8-Wallace played Kellogg. Who won??? We did in a 40-32 thriller on our home floor. 9-Mr. Iszler gave the students a surprise matinee dance celebrating our victory. 12-Wallace loses to Sandpoint 67-50 on the Bull- dog floor. 19-Miners take Tigers to a 50-45 at home. 22-Chorus, Band, and Wa-Hi students combine to make TV show a big success. 2,5--Last game of the season with a 81-65 win over St. Maries. 26-Debate Team held an informal debate at Kel- logg. 28-National Assembly. High School-Faculty game. Someone bribed the refs. Party for the TV show cast. -- 1954-1955 -- MARCH 3-Panhandle Tournament starts in CDA with Wal- lace placing third. 8-The A. A. U. W. held a Senior Tea for the graduating girls. 11-Regional Tournament starts. 15-NIJC Choir of CDA put on an entertaining program. 16-Debate Tournament at St. Maries with Wallace taking honors. 18-State Basketball Tournament at CDA. 23-Idaho College at Caldwell presented a musical program. 24--Moscow Press Conference with Wa-Hi send- ing five delegates. 25-Key Club Convention at Salem, Oregon. 26-Declamation Festival held in Sandpoint with Wallace well represented. 31-Large banquet honoring Coach Hilliard, spon- sored by the Club. APRIL 7-Seniors presented Man on the Stairs, di- rected by Miss Vigil. 8-Spring vacation starts. 10-Easter Concert given by the Chorus and Band. 12-Minerettes give banquet for Club. 15-Big day for the juniors as they presented their beautiful Prom. 22-Home Ec. girls had fun on Spokane trip. 26--The Band gave entertainment galore with their Spring Concert. 28-What everyone had been waiting for. Lewiston Music Festival with lots of fun for everyone. MAY ? ? ? ?-Somewhere along here the Seniors took their sneak? ? ? ? 13-Awards Assembly and a few tears. 15-The Seniors enjoyed a religious service on Bac- calaureate Day. 18-Semester tests. 19-Tears, good-byes and a final farewell to good old Wa-Hi as the Seniors receive their diplomas. 20-Last day of school.
