As Sophomores they began the year right by electing jerry Streeter, Garry Chambers, an the reigns. Becoming upper classmen, their junior year they started to pile up honors when they won first prize for their outstand- ing float Circus Time. Class officers were Gary Clizer, Denny Welsh, and Margy Marra. Cleo Bardelli and Roger Sparks repre- sented this ambitious class in the student body. They proudly claimed Marilyn Zoret, Paulie Rayburn, and Cora Carlson in Triple Trio. june Mad was chosen for their junior Play and was a smash hit with its outstanding cast. Gerene Pyburn was chosen to be one of our cheerleaders. The junior Prom, April In Paris, was their big event of the year with jo Pledge: and Denny Welsh as King and Queen. Sharon McGatlin, Rita Ghirardello, Glen Almquist, and Roger Sparks were chosen to attend Girls' and Boys' State respectively. Rita Ghirardello and Sharon McGatlin were also chosen to head the Annual and Booster their Senior year. Being represented in every school activity and sport they were well prepared and ready to take over their Senior year. Elections found four capable officers who were jerry joe Caron, Don Hull, jerry Streeter, and Cleo Bardelli. Student officers were Denny Welsh, Rita Ghirardello, and Dalvin Vfinterowd. Our contribution to the Thespian Tournament which was She's a Neat job, took the Oscar for the best play. Another Thespian Play which won many honors was Cracked Ice. Evelyn Bratton and Alice Giroux were added to the cheerleading staff. December brought our beautiful Ebb Tide which was the underwater theme for their ' lleman reigned over all. This Class of '55 has indeed brought high honors to Wa-Hi. Senior Ball. Cleo Bardelli and Duane Hue '- ' Sauna
