Class Poem of 1952 I've a story to tell you. It's quite true. All about the W. H. S. Seniors of '52, It's a brick school house, in a small Indiana town, Within its walls this story was found. This class is unusual, so it seems, Five handsome boys, with one lovely queen. For twelve long years, that's quite a time, For one lone girl, to keep five boys in line. First, we have Jimmy, with eyes so brown, So full of fun, he's nice to have around. And Grover, so big and tall, He's the most handsome one of them all. Along comes Jackie, and the least we can say, Is that with the girls, he has that winning way. And Stephen, guess he is the brains of the class, And next there is Lela, the one and only lass. We have one more boy, he is big and tall, And ever so handy with a basketball. . Ked is the name of this boy, it's true. Now that is all the class of '5Z. The end of my story draws near, Like the end of every high school career. I've one thing that I'd like to add, It's your twelve best years, Seniors, you've ever had May your future life be spent in peace, Every day your good deeds increase. And I'm sure, if I'd search this old world through, I'd never find a nicer class, than this Class of '5Z'.'
