We tried to involve everyone, says Brent Hardy, second semester president. However, in spite of these laudable trends, the deans feel that further existence of the club is not justified. Perhaps they are right. After all, the recent accomplishments of the club require no formal organization. OPS may have died a silent death by the time the men of Sittner return next year. Though at times in the past OPS has served us well, will anyone much miss it? 18

The campus and residence halls are directed specifically toward that purpose. We want your dreams to come true. Welcome to WWC and happy hunting. Miriam Hummelfarb, Dean of Women Walla Walla College General Guidelines and Information Each 8' by 8' student room is equipped with two sets of bunk beds, four desks, four dressers, and where space permits, a window. Students are expected to keep their rooms cleen. Each student is responsibIe for bringing her own roach spray. Rooms will be checked for cleanli- ness twice a day by the residence hall dean. You are expected to keep noise down to a minimum at all times; however, there is a special quiet time between 5 pm. and 10 am. No noise will be permitted during this time. Magazines interfere with study habits and are not to be used in students' rooms. There is a five- dollar fine for keeping magazines in your room. Facilities Many facilities are provided in the residence hall for the convenience of the students. 20
