He previously studied Arabic, French, German, and Sanskrit. The final examination of his doctorate program at Yale was over the language, literature, archeology, and history of the Akhadians, Sumerians, and Hittites. 0n campus, Mrs. Knapp teaches ba- sics to Greek 1 stu- dents.
