By the spring quarter the en- rollment reached 1,460. The next highest was 1,431, last year. $3 . Mr. Canaday, one of five teachers in industrial education, counsels with students. The house in the background advertises a new course, minimalic construction, in which each of the ten students accepted for the class builds a complete miniature house. V Each year Elder Alcock keeps track of section cards. This year, with 502 freshmen in the fall quarter, there were thirteen sections of freshman composition.
