he determines the type of building by the use to which it is to be put. Transient buildings need no foundation, but those which must last for centuries need an equally lasting foundation. When God builds He builds for eternity and the Foundation is just as eternal. UOther foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Ye are God's building. Yet God expects every one to do his own building. One, two, three, or four years have already been spent in Walla Walla College on your structure. You who have been in accord with the ideals of Walla Walla College have built upon the Foundation. You have built wisely thereupon, a structure-a character- which will last throughout eternity. Your life has been and will be a joy. And if tomorrow, in these uncertain times, you are called upon to make the supreme sacriiice for God or Country, death will be but a fleeting moment in God's plan for your life. What sort of building have you been making in the School that Educates for Life? M
