THE MOUNTAIN ASH I ll ununumanaanummmui:annum:nnnnuccnuznnnnnununnrmnuanonfm 1 -:ly nd ain ion are Jod , Y f Q' 22 Mrs. Anna VanAusdle, matron, has under her supervision about fifty students who perform most of the tasks in the dining room and kitchen. Food during che week is served in cafeteria style, but on Sabbaths the American plan of serving is carried out. Mrs. VanAusdle always strives to render efficient service and provide a balanced diet. Approximately thirty girls find work in the laundry, which is efficiently operated by Mrs. Gertrude Wheeler. In addition to the school-home laundry, commercial work is done. Mrs. Wheeler also directs all the janitor Work con- nected with the administration buildings. The Laundry

Two new Tokheim 'Computing gasoline pumps have been installed this year, so, along with other modern equipment used, quick and satisfactory service is assured. i W Q I Q V The Woodwork Department, under the supervision of Ted Davis, trains academy boys and college men in the skill of wood turning and cabinet making. All repair work about the college is done by the nine students employed in this department.
