Murray Eggars Frank Stewart and Charles Washmgton The 1974 addition of the Blue Devils was exciting, disappointing and unpredictable The disappointing season record of three wins and six losses doesn’t in any way measure the Blue Devils ' performance. In the Eisenhower game, Wa-Hi was leading 15 to 12 with four minutes remaining Vet incredibly on an intercepted pass and a defensive breakdown, we lost 33 to 1 5 We lost to Pasco. 0 7: Pasco ' s only score was a blocked punt. The Big Blue lost to Kennewick, 14 - 18, and were leading in the ballgame with a minute and 22 seconds to go These three games are probably fairly typical of the Devil ' s misfortunes. At the traditional Fall Sports Banquet Fred Pryor was elected Honorary Captain by his team mates, Tom Reser won both Outstanding Lineman Award as well as the Most Inspirational Award; Frank Stewart was the recipient of the Chuck Anderson Memorial Award for his outstanding defensive achievements Frank was also named All Conference First String Linebacker by the area sport writers 54 BIG NINE 1974 LEAGUE STANOINGS 1 Wenatchee Won 8 2 Pasco 6 3 Kennewick 5 4. In the past we have helped Seguin school, and the Salvation Army. We also have raffles, a big candy sale each year, an annual Volleyball game with Tri- Hi Y, and an annual Senior Picnic. This year we hope to take a camping trip to the mountains. We support WA-Hl athletics also, by going to out of town games on Rooter Buses. Our goal as a club is to make people get involved in their community, even if it means just giving a little, to help others.
