Corey Farris ROW 5 Mark Vale Nick Campanefli Steve Lloyd Dan Witherow Jean Maier Parke Thomas Adjudicators of the spring ' 72 large-group contest at Kamiakin High School looked Wa-Hi ' s orchestra over and dubbed them the beautiful people ' The group earned an excellent rating m the judging Other out-of-town events attended by the orchestra this year were the sight-reading clinic in Pullman and the Moscow String Festival The orchestra continued to be m demand for community performances-style shows, soirees, and conventions (State Teachers and TOPS Club} Twelve members also played in the Walla Walla Symphony Orchestra Orchestra and choir shared a Concert in October and performed together again at Christmas in Lacey Auditorium, over KUJ radio direct from the Marcus Whitman Hotel lobby! and at an all-school yule assembly The annual all-District spring string festival was the grand finale for the year ' s programs
