HOMECOMING QUEEN AND COURT-FRONT ROW: Queen H rat her Cowan. ROW 2: Chuck Eisele, Debbie Richardson, Ken Olsen, Drena Jensen. Kiny Dave Bateman, Terri Pringle, Lon Wyrick, Mary Jo Martin. Chuck Streamer. Homecoming was another exciting event during the school year. It was held October 5-10; and. as in past homecomings, numerous sales were held by various organizations on campus. Organized activities were put into effect by the students. First the garbage day speech contest was held, followed by class competition, and the student- faculty tug-of-war. Pre-game activities included the serpentine, the bonfire, and the noise parade. The highlight of homecoming was the game and dance. The game was won by a score of 7 to 0. The theme of this year ' s dance, “Hurry Sundown”, appropriately ended a great week. 20

Rally Rally was very busy this year working with the cheerleaders to heighten school spirit bv making game posters and selling game ribbons. They started the Guardian Angel system, where they did something special for varsity swimmers, wrestlers and basketball players each week. Also Rally held a winter sports week, put on skits and rode rooter buses.
