RIGHT The cheerleaders lead the Serpentine through Walla Walla, LEFT BELOW; Sue Hickman and Diane CundifT sell licorice m Kiddies 1 Day RIGHT BELOW the Student Faculty tug-of-war during the noon hour of Grubbie Day Homecoming, 1968 was one of this year ' s greatest “happenings ” Included in the homecoming festivities were the club Wagon Race, the Serpentine through downtown Walla Walla, a wonderfully wet tug-of-war between students and faculty, selling licorice to a number of what appeared to be pre¬ schoolers the traditional bonfire, a pig chase, and the beautifully decorated homecoming ball. Reigning over the week ' s activities were Queen Wray Chase, King Ray Williams, Princesses Marcia Follett and Debbie Pringle, and Princes Steve Martin and Mike Murr. 14
