The chief justice of the traffic court presides over court sessions, and makes out summonses, assisted by the sophomore, junior, and senior jus¬ tices. The secretary keeps a complete record of the court sessions for future reference. Legislative Assembly had a busy year under the leader ship of Harlan Jones, vice president. This year emphasis was placed on a committee structure for the Assembly A number of standing committees were formed, with special committees being formed as needed. Constitutional debate was often in the forefront, along with discussion of the many problems to be found on campus. The Wa-Hi Student Court consists of five justices who hear testimony on cases brought before the Court and reach a verdict, a secretary who keeps court rec¬ ords, and a bailiff who keeps order in the court room. The chief justice receives all cases, summons all defend¬ ants, subpoenas witnesses, schedules court sessions, and presides over the court. Another student project included various Curriculum Innovations Committees discussing suggestions students would like to see in their high school curriculum.
