Our President Mike Johnson-. This year’s student government with its various activities was very successful It was successful only because we had an interested and enthusiastic student body with which to work. Such interest and enthusiasm was displayed in the effort put forth by the Legislative Assembly committees. The gym last spring with its posters of the 1966-67 election. The Wa-Hi Student Court consists of five justices who hear testimony on cases brought before the Court and reach a verdict, a secretary who keeps court rec¬ ords, and a bailiff who keeps order in the court room. The chief justice receives all cases, summons all defend¬ ants, subpoenas witnesses, schedules court sessions, and presides over the court. Another student project included various Curriculum Innovations Committees discussing suggestions students would like to see in their high school curriculum. The Scheduling Committee consisted of Bruce Bjerke — chairman; Loren Abenroth, Lorraine Brassard, Donna DeWitt, Linda Gau, Linda Hansens, Denise Rowse, and Marcia Wendler The Extra Curricular Committee was composed of Dick Simon-—chairman; Lorraine Brassard, Craig Davenport, Donna DeWitt, Dan Flathcrs, Sue Margeson, and Carol Reyburn.
