MISS LITTLE, a native Oregonian, graduated from Pendleton High School. After graduation she continued her education at Whitman, where she minored in music and English, and majored in biology for her Bachelor of Science degree. Then she did graduate work ir English at the University of Oregon, the University of Washington, and Stanford University, Miss Little began teaching at Washougal, Washington in a two-story brick school of about 1 25 students. About our high school, Miss Little had this to say. ‘‘During my twenty-five years at Wa-Hi, the student body has survived ration cards, floods, and falling plaster, and I am convinced that they will always maintain enough good sense and good will to with¬ stand any strain. Individually, students have always been interesting, often inspiring, and my greatest pleasure has been the opportunity to share not only their eagerness to do well and to do right, but their occasional failure to do either. We have learned together. I am always sorry to lose this year ' s crop, and always surprised to get another just as delightfully individual and unpredictable as the last. To the Class of ' 63, one of the best, go my best wishes for continued achievements and personal happiness 1
