Joe Jaucian } arrived in the United United States last August and since then have found wonder¬ ful new experiences and have seen interesting places ' says Joe Jaucian of his A.F.S. mis¬ sion to the United States. Joe, a senior, and a guest of the Robert Jamisons, found the cli¬ mate and activities very differ¬ ent from his native Philippine Islands, but has found the change pleasant. He likes topla ping-pong in his leisure time and also col¬ lects stamps and writes to about 15 pen-pals. Future plans include a possi¬ ble career in the foreign service. Exchange Students Dan Clark Dan, as the first Wa-Hi stu¬ dent to go abroad as an ex¬ change student under the Am¬ erican Field Service program, spent the past summer in Ros¬ ario, Argentina. There he drank mate ' , lived with a local family, met Argentine President From dize on television, and did his best to leave a good impression of American good-will. Of the fifty students in South America, four were in Rosario. Dan ' s relatives there includ¬ ed a brother Pablo, 17, and a sister Anna Stella, 14, He was able to swim, golf, sail, go rid¬ ing, and play tennis. Current A.F.S activities in¬ clude presenting talks on his trip and acting on the commit¬ tee to select new exchange stu¬ dents. 15

Dino is the story of a young boy, who discovers at the last possible moment that a better life is possible. His new life in a big city settlement house is an experience in trusting and sought-for friendship — eventu¬ ally to understanding. Essen¬ tially a study in human nature. It is the most challenging play yet attempted by the Wa-Hi Dra¬ ma Department.
