(5 Dave McRae a Tom Nelson Frank Noal Mickey O ' Neil Larry Richards Tom Schulke Mike Williams The 1960 football season was an in-between year for the Wa-Hi Blue Devils. Faced with the loss of 18 lettermen, Coach Fletcher was nevertheless, able to field a light but scrappy team. Off to a slow start, they finished the season with a record of four wins, four losses, and earned second place in the Big Seven with a league tally of four wins and one loss. Seven lettermen will graduate this year, but there are quite a few talented sophomores and juniors to take their places, among them Frank Noal, Mickey O ' Neil, Tom Fox, Jack Thornton, Tom Schulke, Tom Nelson, Doug Coffey, and Mike Dunham. The Blue Devils presented a good ground game, but were easily hurt by more aerial-minded teams. Memorable games included the romp against Richiand, Pasco ' s sharp demise, and the fine victory over Kennewick.
