The Associated Student Body Cabinet carried out a ship- launching theme in the opening assembly of the year, ‘ The Launch¬ ing of the USS Wa-Hi 1 The purpose of the assembly was to intro dues the A.S.8. officers and commissioners to the students For the 1956 Homecoming, the girls ' clubs combined to build a moveable float. The boys ' clubs also constructed a float. The Cabinet-sponsored Homecoming Dance was decorated on o ' Frost Fantasy ' ' theme. In trying to promote better student governments, our Cabinet planned a district student council meeting and an exchange council meeting with Richland. An exchange assembly was held with Pasco to create better relations between the two schools.
