J£ Under the leadership of President Jim George, Vice-presi¬ dent Red Delaney, and Secretary-treasurer Bill Weber, the Boys’ Federation carried out a varied program of service and activities. As in the past the Boys’ Federation continued its popular noon movie program. Some of the films shown were “Viva Za¬ pata,” “The Desert Song,” “Calamity Jane,” and “The Great Dan Patch.” The intramural program with Don Jones, manager, pro¬ vided activity for many boys. The championship teams in all sports were awarded pins. Included in the assemblies presented were: the State Game Department assembly, archery assembly, and a transistor assem¬ bly given by the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company. Boys’ Fed again sponsored a delegate to Evergreen Boys’ State. In the spring the Boys’ Fed were asked to escort and chauf¬ feur the girls attending Tri-State. The 1955-56 year was a success as was shown by the interest and participation in Boys’ Federation activities. CABINET MEETING.
