sddmintdtration Someone once said! Use the past only in so far as it is useful in the future Your Wa-Ht experience is going to be useful in the future because of your academic achievement, your participation in various activities, and your development of leadership and good citizenship, I sincerely hope that your future is bright and that you will not forget soon the days you spent in Wa-Hi, The friendships developed here, both with faculty members and classmates, will have even greater value to you in the years to come, Arthur D, Jones, Superintendent Each passing year brings me closer to our school and its traditions. The Royal Blue captures these thoughts and feelings, preserving them for posterity. It actually is a Treasure Chest of facts and memories that mellow through the years. It is important that our achievements are good ones as they go on record for all to see as the years go by, Fm proud of our accomplishments this year. We have overcome many obstacles and turned them into successes. Congratulations to a fine senior class. May you be happy and successful always. Robert Klavano, Principal. Wa-Hi has a rich heritage. For many years, the stu- dents and faculty, through their continued loyalty and initiative, have made this school one of the outstanding high schools in the state. During the past year, you students have added materially to this heritage by your good citizenship, scholarship, and your wholehearted par- ddpation in worth-while activities. Congratulations to the staff of the Royal Blue who have again given so generously their time to create a lasting record of pleasant memories and enduring friend¬ ships; and ro the seniors for your record of outstanding achievement—keep up the good work. Allen Reynolds, Administrative Assistant. One of the big events of the year is RB Day ; in other words the day that the Royal Blue is distributed to the students, The eagerness with which everyone awaits this day attests to the popularity of the school annual. The Staff deserves a great deal of credit for performing a very great school service. The annual is a fine record of the school year, with its activities and accomplishments. Each of us might ask the same question; What is my record? Did l achieve all that I wished to achieve? Were my exper¬ iences valuable for training in citizenship? What are my hopes and plans for the future? Did I help make Walla Walla High School the fine school that it is today? W. G. LEDBETTER, V ice Principal. 8
