During four years of numerous and varied activitie May 29 found the class of 52 marching to the familiar strains of Pomp and Circumstance out to take their places in the world. They were proud of their class and sorry to leave their high school days behind, but eager to see what the future held. Leading this year ' s class as first semester officers were; Chuck Stone, President; Karl Schwarz, Vice President; Ralph Stearns, Secretary; and Gladys McKinnon, Treasurer. For the second semester, Frank Kimball served as President; Richard Proctor as Vice President; Glenna Dunham as Secretary; and Bob Spearman as Treasurer. Senior class Representatives on the student court were Ned Lange, Chief Justice; Joan McClane, first semester; and Elsie Drumheller, second semester. Sometimes activities take precedence over homework, but Emma Jean Barrett and Marlyn Plankenhorn, with 3.9 averages, kept the class scholastic record at the top of the books. In all, 40 members of the Senior class experienced the thrill of being tapped for National Honor Society; OFFICERS—F. Kimball, R. Stearns, K. Schwarz, R. Proctor, B Spearman, C. Slone, G. Dunham, Not pictured: G, McKinnon, The annual Senior class play, Call of the Banshee, was a huge financial success. To round out a full year of activities, the Senior Ball, under the chairmanship of Jackie Wright, drew a large crowd; and the Senior Sneak, held in May was declared the best ever PHYLLIS ACKERAAAN—ASB Secretary; Sponsors; Junior Pro Queen; El Adrea; NHS.
