W AYNE BERRY Since the establishment of the Federation last year, a great many things have been accomplished. In the fall and spring a party is given for the incoming freshman boys. This gives them an opportunity to get accustomed to the curricula of high school life. The assemblies, held twice a month, feature spealcers of varied fields, each a separate source of inspiration to the boys. Clubs also provide entertainment. A Christmas assembly was given through the cooperation of both Boys' and Girls' Federations to collect supplies for the needy. Another interesting item is the sending of cards to the boys who are absent for any length of time. The boys assist in intramural sports and activities. Fifteen delegates from Wa-Hi attended the Older Boys' Con- ference in Spokane. On their return they reported on the highlights of the Conference in boys' assembly. The Federation includes many committees. The entertainment com- mittee has charge of the assemblies. The committee to greet new boys shows them their classes and introduces them to other boys. There is also a visiting committee to greet visitors to the school and show them the places of interest. The Boys' Federation was organized for the purpose of getting the boys better acquainted with each other, and assisting them in every way possible. This year has been a great success as well as a great aid to the boys. The cooperation of all the boys in school with the Federation ofli- cers and adviser has helped to make it a success.
