Presenting... n A new ROYAL BLUE . . , Phis is a new age. Times are changing. New ideas have taken the place of the old. The ROYAL BLUE staff has broken away from the old traditions of dividing a book into many activity sections. We have arranged it according to the three seasons of the school year: fall, winter, and spring, with the hope that in later years the pages of this book will recall to you in orderly procession the events of the year 1936-1937, Paoh Fquk

Congratulating . . , State Champs! That is a title that makes anyone prick up his ears, and when that title belongs to one’s own team—well, what would you think? And you ate right, Coach Dimick’s Blue Devils were good, and they really deserved to snatch the bacon” right from under the noses of 15 other tournament teams. A combined tight defense and c uick-breaking offense brought them victories over 4 larger teams. The cups in the foreground are trophies of the Blue Devil’s success. The cup on the left is a rotation trophy, which goes each year to the first place winner of the tournament. An interesting feature of this cup is that Wa-Hi has their name engraved on the cup four times, while no other school has theirs on more than twice. The tall cup on the right is a permanent trophy which will be put in the trophy case in the new gym. Page Six EXIT
