4 - 1 Admini tration ,S A.. A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENTZ Fornny years therekns been a steady now of the youthcf this community pass- ing through this institution, the Wall Lake School. And, as the years, pass we could become complacent and consider this flow of youthas Jxst a xntural con- sequence and process. However, this is not as you would ex- pect. We become deeply concerned over these students and pledge our endeavors to their betterment. We realize that main purpose of the school, that is, to train these students to become well-ad- justed, successful citizens, when they are reach' to accept their responsibil- ities. From the office, you might become en- grossed in the financial status of the school, attempting to evaluate all ed- ucational processes in the terms of the money expended, but, this soon fades away when you center your interests upon the growth of each pupil. From the office, we learn of our suc- cesses and failures, as represented in the developments of former students. Ne rejoice to learn of their successes and become concerned when we learn of their failures. They are our representatives in the world. We hope that each parent would become deeply concerned over the educational welfare of their children. You may rest assured that the faculty have, close to their heart, the needs of the pupils. So, from the office, annually we re- gret we have to graduate our students. We would like to keep them on the roll , but we realize they must move along the avenues of life. to make room for the on- coming classes. C25

Here, many plans and important decisions are given for our school by Mr. Harold VanderLas.n. In addition to his guidance and leadership, he possesses many other valuable trait which we find in him as a teacher and principal.
