Better Girlhood The Girls' Athletic Association holds as its ideals four things: sportsmanship, co-operation, clean living, and better girlhood. The main highlights of the year were the G.A.A. gym show on March 26 and the after-game dance after the Washington-Clay game, February 12. G.A.A. met each Thursday of every month during the school year and provided the members with the chance to express themselves and excel in the sport of their choosing. G.A.A. points were given in the various sports, including basketball, volleyball, badminton, modern dance, softball, bowling, and archery. Mrs. Howard was the sponsor this year.
