' We The Y-Teens' organization is affiliated with the Y.w.c.A. in TMS' Deanna M' South Bend. Its main goal is all around good living. To maintain this goal, the group went together to many interesting meetings and listened to many interesting speak- ers in their own meetings, Mrs, Dutcher was the sponsor of the club. Kitty Kats is made up of a group of seventh and eighth grade girls. It is in the junior division of Y-Teens. They had a formal initiation with meetings at least three times a month. They are business meetings with a dance program afterwards. There are no money making projectsg the organization is a social group. Miss Meltinos sponsored the group. f +- I' z S' 'i rg, .:. With the advice of Mr. Eib and Mr. Dick, the Council provided convocations, sponsored the pennant contest, and decided many problems arising among the students. y Future Nurses The Future Nurses Association is a club of active girls who are interested in the fields of nursing. For the first time, at Walkerton, they have sponsored a Medical Scrapbookg awards were given for the best ones. Hearing lectures, seeing movies, and visiting hospitals have been the sources of their knowledge. -up-1
