The curfain opened disclosing one of fhe upper decks of fhe Queen Mary. Jean lJune Hopel, who was a 'rouring dancer, came aboad and when fhe ship sailed sang one of Beffy Fires+one's songs, Off To Europe We Go, wifh a marvelous background made up of fhe chorus. Then. as fhe play progressed, we found fhaf Jean was in love wifh Nick lGinny Backusl, her dancing parfner, who was being wolfed by Brenda. lMardie Monfgomeryl. Jean was walking up on deck when she mef a sailor lLucia Leel. whom she insfanfly liked. She fook him info her confidence and he fold her fhaf fhere was a spy on board. Meanfime. Pinky Holfon, a crazy passenger. wandered in and ouf uffering sfrange remarks which leff us all in sfifches. lf was a very excifing play and ended happily wifh Nick and Jean fogefher again. and Brenda, who furned ouf fo be 'rhe spy, safely ouf of fhe way.
