We have accomplished fhis, we hope, in several ways. The Arf Club, fo begin wifh, has confinued fhis year having exhibifions of famous arfisfs af school for everyone fo enioy. ln fhe fall ferm we were capfivafed by Renoir's clelicafe painfings. A definife confrasf appeared in 'rhe winfer ferm wifh Pefer Breugel's scenes of German peasanfs, and in fhe spring ferm we had a beaufiful col- lecfion of orienfal prinfs. As lhese 'rhree were only exhibifions of reproducfions, we felf fhaf fhe year should be fopped off by a show of originals. So when fhe much awaifed Elshiemius' skefches arrived we were complefely overwhelmed. We feel fhaf we have never before been so successful wifh our exhibifs. We also sfarfed a permanenf collecfion for fhe school. Though as yef only four small copies, a Breugal. an Angelico, a Hans Memling, and a Gioffo. are in fhe col- lecfion, we know if will grow. Lasfly, we organized a quiz program and challenged fhe Music Club fo see which of us knew fhe mosf abouf our specialfy. The resulf was much fun for all and, as The resf of fhe school submiffed The quesfions, we hope fhere was an increased knowledge of our favorife subiecfs. This would never be complefe wifhouf a word fhanking everyone from fhe bof- fom of our hearfs for fhe Byrnes Memorial Sfudio.
