Since Then we hope Miss Powers has Taken a visiT To M ArThur Murray's. 1, ATTer a delicious and lengThy dinner, The Suns seaTed Themselves in The gym, and roared wiTh glee as The curTain opened on The TirsT scene of Cloudy TonighT. lT was a perTecT replica of a Walker bedroom wiTh Jane PlimpTon and ElizabeTh RickeTTs as Two Typical Walker Seniors. The second scene was in The dining room oT The house of JupiTer il'lelen Resorl and Juno lplaywrighT- acTress Roussl. The arrival of Mercury lVander Poel no lessl and Mars lBrowniel broughT down The house. We wanT To give Apollo and Venus lDonnie and Caryl a greaT big hand Tor The perTecT handling oT The love inTeresT. Holding our sides we followed The hilarious comedy Through The exciTemenT caused by The gods' discovery ThaT a morTal was coming To pay Them a social call. Toward The end, Plimp sang Cloudy TonighT, a wonderful song Tor which KiTTy SchaeTer, The composer. is worThy oT greaT praise. We all groaned when we heard MeliTa's voice yelling FirsT on The shower, Tor we realized ThaT The TirsT bell had rung: ThaT The play was buT a dream and ThaT iT was The end oT Cloudy TonighT. Then in swiTT pursuiT came Minnie The Mermaid lMiss Franzheiml, who had Mr. Vera Rich- ard ably singing her praises. Schoolmarm Primrose TT-larmanl is having her Troubles. Oscar lReuTTerl can'T be Tooled because he's Too ignoranT and even Maphie knows The score. AgaTha lCampbelll wanTs To be a Torch singer and lra lBevl makes The TaTal Triangle compleTe, wiTh Kim lFrenchiel and The adorable Jo lMeyerl. Finally class is dismissed aTTer many inTerrupTions. mosT of which are caused by Elmer lWessonl, who is seized wiTh The overwhelming desire To be excused every so oTTen. The years pass. Kim is now ship's docTor on The O Buoy, and by coincidence Jo, lra, Miss Primrose and AgaTha are also There. EveryThing is smooTh sailing unTil Ira, prompTed by Miss Harpey lPaxsonl Tells Jo ThaT Kim is already married To Magnolia ll-linmanl, so ThaT Jo will give lra a break. Troubles Then come Thick and TasT. There is a sTorm and The passengers are wrecked on a cannibal island. They are abouT To be eaTen and The cannibal children lConnick and Laughlinl express Their delighT wiTh a naTive dance. The Chief lMcConnelll Then comes in To announce ThaT if anyone oT Them can cure his gouT he will seT Them all Tree. While Kim is applying his medical skill, Miss Harpey conTesses her Treachery and, as a resulT, Jo and Kim are reuniTed. The chief. now cured, seTs Them all Tree as he promised and, as The curTain Talls, we see Kim and Jo happily rowing away.
