BAND The Walker-Grant Band is made up of 7th 8th Grade Students who are regularly enrolled in band as a class. The band plays for school assemblies and presents one Public Concert in conjunction witli the chorus in the Sp ring. CHORUS The Chorus consists of approximately 60 members. At the present, it includes all the students taking music. The Chorus sings mostly popular songs and gives several performances a year. The Chorus is under the direction of Miss Mandy Carr. SPECIAL SINGING GROUP The Special Singing Group is an auditioned group. Students are selected at the beginning of the school year on their vocal ability and ability to read music. This group performs for school functions, churches and clubs in the area. 27
